Carine Claudepierre is a cooking and baking expert. She’s been making cakes and cookies since she was 5 years old.
Beyond cooking, Carine has always been passionate about sharing her recipes. She started her first blog more than 15 years ago. Carine also a certified nutritionist with a Accredited Certificate in Nutrition and Wellness obtained in 2014 from Well College Global (formerly Cadence Health).
In her youth, Carine also worked in the family restaurant, as well as in the family’s candy factory. So saying she’s an expert in sweet recipes is an understatement!
Carine published her first book in 2016, Clean Bakery with a raft of easy and healthy baking recipes.
When Carine was pregnant with her first child, she was diagnosed pre-diabetic. This heavily influence the next few years of her culinary journey and led to Sweet As Honey becoming one of the most popular and recognized sites sharing low-carb and keto recipes.
The ketogenic diet helped Carine reverse her pre-diabetes and she later turned to a mixed low-carb, Mediterranean, and overall healthy diet.
Damien Maurer is a techy, he’s always been working in technology and has a passion for making technology work for the real world. While not a chef, Damien loves eating Carine’s delicious recipes.
He started on a Vegan diet in 2017 and with his passion for running and ultra-running, eating a balanced diet is essential.
The Conscious Plant Kitchen was started as a way of documenting all the plant-based recipes that Carine makes at home.
